Follow Your Heart
Follow your heart,
And you shall see,
just how happy life can be.
It takes a try,
and a YES WE CAN,
It’s magic at work
with a master plan.
Dream it up,
just don’t discourage,
keep that faith,
and ALL YOUR COURAGE.
At times you’ll cry,
At times you’ll scream,
At times you WILL HATE EVERYTHING!
It’s okay
to stop and chill,
your heart needs breaks,
and so you will…..
Take the time
to give to others,
feed the planet,
forgive your Mothers…
Life is short
live in the moment,
inspire our children,
don’t make them dormant.
Our elders teach us
all their glories.
at times it feels like
one million same stories!
Children remember,
the work is not done.
and loving each other,
is not always fun.
Grief is a lesson,
often hidden for years.
a secret,
a blackness,
a symbol of fears.
There is yellow sunshine,
round every dead end,
it’s standing by HOPE,
at the rainbow’s bend.
Tell us a story,
‘bout this incredible land,
make everyone happy.
make everyone grand.
You see it’s so simple,
the dreams we see true.
We have the power,
OF RED, WHITE, AND BLUE.
It does take a try,
and a YES WE CAN.
It’s magic at work,
with a master plan.
Just follow your heart
and you shall see,
just how happy
life can be.
