“Petunia and Pete” is a painting donated November 14th, 2011 to the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.

I was juried into their art collection after six months and approved by a committee of members procuring artwork for the hospital. What an honor for my artwork to occupy the walls (along with many other gifted artists) for the children and families visiting (or staying) at the hospital. I am hopeful to brighten the corridors and lift some spirits.

This painting is gifted in honor of the amazing Dr. Jessica Kassis (OB/GYN @ LPCH) who without her my granddaughter wouldn’t have had the most peaceful and incredible entrance into this world. Dr. Kassis is the best OB/GYN in the NATION! She is kind, attentive, informative, loving and so gifted at her job. Good wishes and endless thanks to you and your team of amazing practitioners. When you see Petunia and Pete, think of Sarah, Ava and Rochelle. It is truly a gift to have you a part of our family history.
